Trip to Sunny San Diego

Spending some quality time with the fam in San Diego before I move up to Salt Lake for the fall. The weather is SO refreshing compared to southern Utah where we came from. The water was a bit icy today, but it was totally worth it to jump in and battle with the giant waves just to feel that rush of excitement.

Time to have my sisters help me remove all the crushed sea shells from my hair! Anyone else go on a eventful family vacation recently?

  1. I love going to the beach...

I went to Michigan for the Cherry Festival in Traverse City at the beginning of July with my family. It was really cool. We also went to Frankenmuth to visit Bronner's - the world's biggest Christmas store!!! It was amazing!

  2. not too often, but, living in San Diego before I moved out, we had plenty of stay-cations. It's a beautiful place, I'm glad you had the chance to enjoy your stay.

  3. My family used to go to SoCal every year but then my parents split and I did my own grad trip this year.
I must say that the beaches there are far superior to Vancouver beaches. Ours are BEAUTIFUL but not so warm or great for swimming.
We don't have waves either. Waves are so fun!

  4. My family loves to go to MaceiĆ³, here in Brazil. White sands, calm water, blue ocean, seafood, coconut water and regional entertainment.
    It is cool :D

  5. My family didn't have a lot of cash when I was growing up, so me and my siblings learned pretty early on to make our own summer fun using our imaginations. The woods behind our house became the Amazon rain forest, the neighbor's dog became a vicious lion on an African safari, etc. These days, I'm saving for a trip to the real Amazon. :)

    1. I can totally relate to that! When I was a little girl my friends and I tied ourselves to a tree on the hill on the side of our house and pretend we were hoisting ourselves into a volcano... Hmmm, wonder who came up with that game?

  6. Last time I went to the beach in San Diego, I must have missed a spot in the middle of my back when I applied the sunscreen. I got sunburned pretty bad. I looked like I had a Japanese flag tattooed on my back for the rest of the trip.

I hope Chandler has hit the surf. He seems like he could hang ten with the best.

Nice photos! To be a Frampton, there must be a pre-requisite for talent and beauty. Hope you have the best vacation ever!

    1. Nick's on vacation with us as well. He just looked at himself in the mirror and said, "I feel like a lobster" and stalked out because he got SO burnt. Poor Nick. Fun in the sun has a price. Ha ha.
